Just like any huge Disney event, the creativity in the costumes NEVER disappoint! The costumes are one of the most popular reasons people attend the D23 Expo and for good reason. The clever Disney super fans spare no expense when creating some of their fantastic outfits in hopes that they will win the elusive $2,300 Grand Prize at the Mousequerade contest! So take a look at some of what we thought were the Best Disney Costumes at D23 Expo – and even find some Halloween or cosplay inspiration of your own!

Some costumes are just so dang smart…as you look at them, you just think, “how come I couldn’t think of that?!” Much like these hilariously perfect Fairy Flight Attendants, complete with their 60th anniversary pins and their Peter Pan AM bags.

Some are just so creative…check out what this gentleman did with his motorized scooter! Pirates of the Caribbean! That’s definitely a Pirate’s Life For Me!

With the villain costumes, some were genius and brought out their killer designs! Hades from Hercules was our favorite…..

And Venom from Spiderman…he was so creepy! He sat in this position for quite some time. VERY dedicated!

And look at this amazing Ursula from The Little Mermaid! She even made Flotsam and Jetsam sidekicks!

Some attendees were cute and funny such as this spot-on Judy Hopps and Officer Clawhauser from Zootopia! The guy even painted spots on his head!

Or how about this Kuzco from Emperor’s New Groove?! Such an underrated character for sure.

NOT underrated this year – and probably on the top of the Halloween list are Starlord and Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy.

Some were classic characters such as Sleeping Beauty and Prince Phillip…I loved these two because it is at the early point in the movie and not at the end like most people use.

And is there anyone more classic than Mary Poppins? She’s practically perfect in every way!
