Mickey Mouse Rice Krispie Treats
So last year I created a number of snacks and recipes in partnership with Disney Junior: Puppy Dog Pals Puppy Chow Snack Mix, Lion Guard Lion Cookie Pops and some Mickey and the Roadster Racers Rice Krispie Treats! They were so much fun for the kids that I wanted to share the classic Mickey Shaped Treats with you again here so that you can share the Disney Magic with them from the comfort of home.

How to Make Mickey Mouse Rice Krispie Treats
First I whipped up a fresh batch of rice krispie treats (see classic recipe below) in a large jelly roll pan. These are thinner than I would normally make and I also used another pan to press down on top to try to condense the treats as much as possible, to make them ideal for the Mickey Mouse shaped rice krispie treats!

Decorating Mickey Mouse Rice Krispie Treats
Start by melting chocolate candy melts – I used a combination of light and dark cocoa to achieve a color I liked. I also used shallow small paper plates as you don’t need a lot of chocolate to dip and you need it to be shallow to dip the front of your Homemade Mickey Krispie Treat.

- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cups mini marshmallows
- 6 cups crisped rice cereal
- In microwave-safe bowl heat butter and marshmallows on HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes.
- Stir until smooth.
- Add crisped rice cereal, stir until well coated.
- Using buttered spatula or wax paper evenly press mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray and cool.
