Hi friends! We’ve been talking about Pixar Fest a lot lately because let’s be honest, it’s so much fun! If you haven’t yet, be sure to check out our Top 15 Disneyland Pixar Fest Foods that honestly was the inspiration behind this delicious and fun freakshake you can make at home!
If you haven’t seen it yet, Schmoozies in Disney’s California Adventure is serving up a Monsters Inc Sully Mint Chip Shake for Pixar Fest and it was one of my most favorite treats on our foodie adventure! So it was top on my list to try to recreate at home.
How to Make a Pixar Fest Monsters Inc Inspired Freakshake
Let’s start with the milkshake base. I used three large scoops of mint chip ice cream and tossed in a couple Oreos (for good measure), a little milk and a little green food coloring for vibrancy. I used cookie icing in blue and green to add some squiggly lines to the inside of my milkshake cup and poured the milkshake right in.
Then I topped the shake off with a Stroopwafel, topped with a fuzzy green Hostess Sno Ball cake, added a little whipped cream and more blue and green cookie icing on top. Then since I still have the cute Pixar Ball straw from my Pixar Fest visit, I popped that guy right through the wafer for one last festive element. So fun, right?! And so easy to make at home!
