As you can see from the table above, the cheapest Disney official merchandise bottle is still more expensive than an ALDI bottle. So it was a no-brainer that I get the bottle. Usually I save my money to visit Disneyland park every year or so. And wasting it on small merch is bad for my budget.
But still, with most of my house decor being Disney-themed, it just made sense for me to have a Disney water bottle. Once or twice, I did think about just giving in and buying an official Disney bottle, since I’d use it to drink water everyday. But I couldn’t justify buying Disney-themed accessories with such premium prices.
Aldi’s Disney Finds Usually Sell Out Fast
It’s not very often that ALDI gets Disney merchandise like this. They are usually limited-time specials and more often than not most stores receive only one shipment.
And the stock doesn’t last on shelves for long either. A Disney-themed accessory, and at that price? These things fly off the shelf faster than Lightning McQueen on route 66.
So a couple of days ago, when I was doing my weekly shop, and saw a Disney water bottle at ALDI supermarket, I went ahead and bought it.

I know most adults who like Disney are thought of as childish, silly, etc. But hey I am an adult and a professional. I might like Mickey Mouse but I’m also a Grown Up ™ . So one of the water bottles I picked up at Aldi was this cute, but sensible Zak Black Mickey Mouse bottle.
The bottle is of stainless steel and is very minimalistic. Most of the bottle is a solid matte black with a holographic Mickey Mouse logo in the middle.
From certain angles, it looks just like a regular (say boring) black bottle. And yes I take it to work and to the gym with me sometimes. And it suits me quite well.

Well, I said I wanted a sort of adult-appropriate bottle. But who cares! I like color and I like Disney. If that makes me childish, so be it. So I went ahead and bought another bottle. It was the same price as the other one.
But even put together they cost less than a Disney-themed merchandise from a theme park store or their official website. So it was a bargain really.
This one was a light blue Lilo and Stitch-themed bottle. The bottle was leak-proof with flip straw and came with a built-in handle. I got it specifically because it said you can wash it on the top rack of the dishwasher. Now I hate doing chores. So this was something non-negotiable for me.
The stainless steel bottle is vacuum insulated but it’s not meant for hot or carbonated beverages. But that was fine with me. I was just using it at home to keep myself hydrated.

What Could Be Better:
Availability Is the Biggest Problem

I have no complaints about this bottle to be honest. It’s pretty great. You kind of get official merchandise from a brand like Disney at pretty reasonable prices. I think the following people would really appreciate the water bottles:

- Theme park visitors
- School
- Office
- Daily commuting
- Budget-conscious shoppers
But then it begs the question who “shouldn’t” get the bottles. And to that I say, don’t get the bottle if:
- You want a specific character.
- You need replacement parts.
- You want matching accessories year-round.
- You don’t want to hunt for Aldi Finds.
Does It Hold Any Water That Aldi Disney Water Bottles Are Worth Your Money?
Oh I’d definitely recommend people buy the bottle. Seeing a water bottle is a pretty basic need, but I don’t see the point in shelling out several bucks for one of these. But if you’re getting a useful bottle and in pretty Disney designs, Aldi offers you pretty good deals.
The designs are pretty basic. They’re not like Disney popcorn buckets that come with all the trimmings. The styles often involve simple solid coloring with logos or simple character prints. But I find that it makes the bottles look quite elegant and not cartoonish so it works in its favor.
So TLDR; do we buy the Disney water bottles from Aldi? I’d say YES, go for it.
